The National Zero Waste Conference is the annual two-day virtual educational and networking event organized by Zero Waste USA. This conference is a must-attend for anyone passionate about zero waste solutions, sustainability, environmental impact, and community engagement.

Reducing waste presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities for the hotel & lodging sector.  While upstream practices like food waste prevention and eliminating single use packaging can lead to cost savings, diversion efforts may add layers of operational logistics such as staff training and service contracts. With careful planning, these and other zero waste initiatives can deliver big sustainability wins without compromising the guest experience.
