Volunteer at CRRA 2024
The California Resource Recovery Association is proud to announce the Call for 2024 Conference Volunteers. Potential volunteers are encouraged to apply for CRRA’s Annual Conference to be held in Anaheim, CA from August 18-21. Deadline for applications is April 15, 2024.
Expectations of the Volunteer
Volunteers must be available to attend the duration of the event - August 18-21, 2024.
Volunteers may be placed in various roles, including:
Session Room Monitor
Audience Q&A Microphone Runner
Registration Assistant
Event Entrance Monitor/Tracker
Food Line Monitor
Floater/Runner for light tasks
Tour Monitor
There is one volunteer position available for an amateur photographer. This position will be assigned based on your skill set.
Volunteers understand that the commitment is to be available for the entire duration noted above in exchange for access to all conference activities when not working scheduled volunteer hours.
Volunteers understand that unless a conference volunteer travel stipend is awarded, they are responsible for all expenses associated with their presence at the event, including travel, food and beverage (outside of what is provided during the conference) and hotel.
BENEFITS TO THE VOLUNTEER:
Volunteers will receive complimentary access to the event. This includes:
Sessions
Food breaks with conference meals provided by CRRA
Networking events
Special events
CRRA will make every effort to schedule volunteer's hours around sessions they are interested in attended however, this is not guaranteed.
Volunteers will have the ability to network and visit exhibitors during the event.
Volunteers can add this service to their resumes.
There are conference volunteer travel stipends available that assist with hotel and travel expenses. Every volunteer may apply.
