Some people need a quick prompt to remind them. Others respond to evidence that it makes a difference or that it’s a normal thing everyone does. Nudging people to consistently recycle or adopt waste reduction practices isn’t easy but it is possible. Key to unlocking zero waste behavior is a thoughtful messaging strategy grounded in the distinct values, social context and other factors that guide a person’s actions.

This webinar will feature two sustainability behavior experts discussing messaging strategies rooted in science, from extensive CBSM-style campaigns to simple signage prompts.  Their presentations will cite best practices and real-world case studies of public engagement initiatives that have resulted in meaningful improvements.
