The CRRA VSE RC members commit to participating in the following activities: |

Educate: using workshops, publications, peer-to peer
assistance, and public appearances, members will be educated on
waste generation problems and resources available to reduce venues
waste. |

|
Involve and inform other institutions: discuss venues
waste issues and advocate solutions with others affected by the
problem such as waste haulers, building owners, government officials,
labor unions, and product and service suppliers to identify barriers,
educate decision-makers, and coordinate activities to increase waste
reduction. |

|
Promote Innovations and best practices: identify and
advocate waste reduction practices and alternative "green"
products that provide improved methods, lower costs, reduced environmental
impact, improved reduction amounts, and increased program participation. |
|
|
Experiment: participate in and report small-scale tests
of new methods and products in actual venue operations that will
build credibility and a business case for adoption of waste reduction
practices. |
