Whither AB 939:
A Local Government
Workshop

What should happen with AB 939?

  • Leave it alone
  • Increase the diversion goal
  • Focus on market demand
  • Measure only landfilling
  • Measure programs
  • Repeal it

The Local Agency Technical Council, a California Resource Recovery Association council, is organizing workshops for local government officials to discuss the future of AB 939. LATC is comprised of your local government peers.

Each workshop will include a presentation and discussion about options already presented by the legislature, CIWMB, CRRA, and others. We will break into discussion groups to identify and refine options further, and aim for a consensus about what should (and shouldn’t) be a part of AB 939’s future.
