PTA GO GREEN
The PTA Go Green Initiative is rapidly becoming
the largest environmental movement in the country. It will succeed
in mainstream America, because it is grounded in an underlying
principle that most people can embrace: that there is an inextricable
link between environmental protection and the health and well-being
of our nation's children. By partnering with the PTA, CRRA can
help us save the planet, one child at a time! (Room

SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS
ROUNDTABLE
Will explore interest in developing a CRRA
Council to promote sustainable businesses in California, and
what existing organizations and resources may be able to contribute.
This council would replace the "B.R.E.A.L" Council
which has been dormant for many years. A Sustainable Business
Council could highlight businesses throughout the state that
are models, foster information sharing among existing business
environmental groups and advocate for state and local policies
and programs that would encourage businesses to adopt more sustainable
practices. (Room CC 103) |
