Welcome to the 2009 CRRA Conference & Tradeshow!The California Resource Recovery Association (CRRA) is an environmentally focused professional organization for people involved in resource conservation through waste prevention, reuse, recycling and composting activities. CRRA members use their collective knowledge and experience to create and help implement innovative solutions and programs to reduce material going to landfill. The Association works closely with the individuals and organizations that influence and shape conservation and waste prevention policy and programs. CRRA provides a variety of forums and venues that increase communication among government, industry and environmental organizations. Join CRRA in Rancho Mirage for its 33rd annual conference and tradeshow. This year’s event will be at the beautiful Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa, August 2 – 5, 2009. This year's theme, "Zero Waste: Vision to Reality", focuses on the importance for our industry and members to fully embrace the Zero Waste philosophy and make it a reality in their community. Invoking the desert mirage (an optical illusion reflecting reality), we distinguish Zero Waste planning and design (the Vision) moving toward comprehensive reuse, recycling and composting (the new Reality), as we address Climate Change issues. |
