Environmental purchasing can be a roll of the dice whether the product is truly "green." This session will help you make the connection between climate change and purchasing recycled products while avoiding deceptive "greenwashing."

America is a disposable nation and we must provide solutions that make it better, faster, and cheaper to manage unwanted materials properly rather than sending everything to the landfill. This Reuse session will explore the facts behind waste reduction and the waste stream by using local corporations as examples. As our nation moves towards de-industrializing our cities, speakers will explore the impacts this move will have on the recycling industry and recycling-based production businesses.
